I worked in the Chicago Transit Authority’s Training and Workforce Development department, where I created visual content that highlighted the people, programs, and opportunities within the CTA.
My work included filming and editing interviews, photographing events, and designing promotional materials for initiatives like the Second Chance and One Summer Chicago programs.
Working at the CTA helped me understand that behind every role is someone who genuinely wants to make Chicago better. My projects aimed to highlight that dedication, not just through their stories, but through the purpose behind their work.

One Summer Chicago Internship | Career Ride | Engineering Department
This Career Ride video focused on engineering at the CTA, featuring Carrie Wagener, a professional engineer who shared her career journey and what goes into maintaining and improving Chicago’s transit system. The video aimed to show high school students how engineering plays a key role in keeping the city moving and inspire interest in STEM careers in Chicago.

Career Rides are short videos that show what it’s like to work at the Chicago Transit Authority. Each one highlights an employee who talks about their job, their journey, and what makes their work meaningful. The series helps students learn about different career options and the people who make public transportation possible.
One Summer Chicago Internship | Career Ride | Operations Department
This Career Ride video highlighted operations roles at the Chicago Transit Authority, featuring Jose Rodriguez, a bus instructor, and Tenesha Taylor, a rail instructor. They discussed their day-to-day responsibilities, how they got started at the CTA, and what it takes to succeed in transit operations. The video was created to help high school students understand the career paths available within public transportation and to offer practical advice and encouragement for those interested in working at the CTA or exploring skilled careers in Chicago.
